Shahidan wants Sultan Ahmad Shah to settle his issues with FAM

Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim wants to appeal to Sultan Ahmad Shah, the President of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), regarding his punishment
Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim wishes to appeal his case which saw him receive a punishment of a 30-month ban from all football-related activities after he was allegedly involved in a match-fixing scandal.

However, only Sultan Ahmad Shah can accept his appeal after the Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) had punished him without any proper investigation, and never gave him the right to appeal the decision.

Shahidan still has not received the official letter from the FAM.

Speaking to Sinar Harian, he said: "I want to invite the whole of Malaysia to pray [for this case]. I do not have the power in this issue but I have the influence in this sport."

Shahidan also added that he has already informed Perlis' officers and players that he can not be active anymore.

Regardless of the situation, they still want him to continue as Shahidan's absence will definitely distrupt the players' confidence.
