The President of PBSMM, Datuk Takiyuddin, believes that the FAM will be fair in handling Tunku Ismail's recent comments and there will be no special treatment for himPresident of Persatuan Bola Sepak Melayu Malaysia (PBSMM), Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, has reiterated his belief that the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will be just in their handling of Tunku Ismail's recent criticism on the quality of referreing in the country.
He believes that the rules implemented by the FAM does not provide special treatment to any individuals.
"We are confident with the credibility of FAM's Disciplinary Committee because any decisions made by the committee will show the integrity of the FAM, who have gained a lot of attention to themselves," Takiyuddin told Sinar Harian.
"I do not see any laws that would give an exception to anyone if they were to be found guilty. Rules should be implemented for everyone, and for the football fans, they have to be patient and let the committee solve the problems," he added.
According to him, there are no double standards in giving out punishments and this can be seen when both Tan Sri Annuar Musa, and the recently suspended Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, received their punishments accordingly.
