Harimau Muda 'A' lads continue to attract interest from Japan

Besides Wan Zack and Wan Zaharulnizam, Japanese side FC Ryukyu are also keeping tabs on the prospect of signing several other Harimau Muda 'A' players
Japanese side FC Ryukyu appears to be interested in taking a look at a few more Harimau Muda 'A' players, with Ong Kim Swee revealing that delegates from the club will be visiting Kuala Lumpur later this month.

Names like Gary Steven Robbat, Rozaimi Rahman and Irfan Fazail will all be given a chance to impress their officials and perhaps seal a spot to ply their trade in Japan.

The third division side have already offered contracts to Wan Zack Wan Haikal and Wan Zaharulnizam, after the duo were impressive during trials last year. However, it now appears that FC Ryukyu are keen to further enhance their ties with a growing footballing nation like Malaysia.

"Their officials will be arriving on the 25th of February and they will be here for around four to five days," Ong Kim Swee told Berita Harian.

"Their arrival will be to discuss the terms of the contract that have been offered to Wan Zack and Wan Zaharulnizam. Besides that, they will also be taking a look at some other names like Gary Steven Robbat, Syarul Azwari, Rozaimi Rahman, Irfan Fazail and some others."

"I was told that they are keen to sign another one or two names from the Harimau Muda 'A' squad," Ong added.
