President of PKNS FC, Noor Hisham Mohd Ghouth, believes that the agreement with Total Sports Sdn. Bhd. will shake up the new PKNS FC team, making them a better team and more well known not just in local football, but also internationally.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Hisham told reporters that the first phase of deal, which is six months, will help PKNS FC to be a better team from grassroot levels. Many programs have been planned with TSSB including a football clinic with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The football clinic would see the current La Liga champion send their coaches to PKNS FC and give training and football clinics to their academy players, as well as their coaches. TSSB and PKNS FC also planning on bringing in major european clubs from England, Spain or Italy, hopefully to have friendly matches with PKNS FC.
Hisham believes the international exposure to the team will give them more quality, and rather than just producing good players for the M-League, he wants PKNS FC to produce quality players for the M-League in the near future.
He stated that the rebranding of the name to Super Mokh will hopefully instil the spirit of one of the greatest Malaysian footballers, the late Mokhtar Dahari, to the players and staff.
