The Kelantan hitman was yet again proclaimed the Most Valuable Player in the Malaysian League for the third year running at the FAM National Football Awards 2012
Kelantan striker, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha bagged his third double winning act as he swept clean the Best Striker Award and the Most Valuable Player Award for the third year running at the FAM National Football Awards 2012."Firstly, I would like to thank my wife and my family for their never ending support" said the delighted Besut born lad.
The Best Goalkeeper award was picked up by Khairul Fahm Che Mat for the third year in a row while the Best Defender Award went to Aidil Zafuan Abdul Radzak, who also completed a hat-trick of titles.
National team skipper, Safiq Rahim picked up his second Best Midfielder Award while B. Sathianathan, the coach of Malaysia Cup finalists ATM, was also voted the Best Coach for the second time in his career, beating treble winning Croatian tactician Bojan Hodak.
Young gun, Rozaimi Abdul Rahman was awarded the Most Promising Player Award.
Other than the seven awards given out by the panel, the FAM also gave due recognition to the Best Football Association which went to Kelantan FA, Best Club (Sime Darby FC) and also Best Fan Club (ATM).
