The Hammers boss is hopeful that his side can complete their loan move for the 22-year-old right-back within the next 24 hoursWest Ham manager Sam Allardyce is hoping his club can complete their loan move for Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson within the next 24 hours.
As reported by Goal on Tuesday, West Ham beat Hull City to the signing of the 22-year-old, despite Steve Bruce’s side tabling a £3 million offer.
Goal also understands that Jenkinson wanted to remain in London and believes he still has a future at Arsenal, despite the arrivals of Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers this summer.
“We’re interested in signing Carl Jenkinson from Arsenal on loan,” Allardyce told talkSPORT.
“I’m hoping it’s going to be completed in the next twenty four hours. We’re hoping that’s going to be OK.”
