"We want to try to get our record points total if we can and that's our aim - to do that," Moyes told reporters.
"It's a good game to finish. It's not a game where there's nothing on it. They [Chelsea] have had a strong year & winning the Europa League is good."
The 50-year-old also revealed he will be happy to speak to chairman Bill Kenwright about his successor, while admitting he endured an emotional night bidding several of his colleagues goodbye.
"Last night was emotional because I said cheerio to a lot of the people who have been close to me,” he said.
Ahead of Sunday's clash at Stamford Bridge, Moyes confirmed that both Leon Osman and Phil Neville will be unavailable for selection with knee problems.
