The Republic of Ireland international had been a pivotal part of David Moyes' starting XI prior to his injury against Reading in mid-November which saw him miss the busy festive period.
The Toffees emerged with nine points and three victories from their four games during the congested Christmas and New Year schedule, earning impressive wins away at both West Ham and Newcastle, and Coleman remains optimistic of the challenges ahead given their recent form.

"It was good to get back for the cup game last week and hopefully I can go from now until the end of the season without any injuries.
"I think the Christmas period was really important and the lads got through that brilliantly and started off the new year well too.
"We will have a good week now in training and look forward to the next game."
Everton currently sit in fifth place in the league table with 37 points from their 22 games so far this season, with an away trip to Southampton on January 21 next up.
