Franco Di Santo netted a second-half equaliser as the London outfit extended their run to just two wins in their previous 14 Premier League games, with the club sitting just six points away from the relegation zone in 13th place.
And Jol has called for patience from the Fulham fans, telling reporters: “I can understand it [the booing] as a professional but I would like them to understand that we are still not Real Madrid, we are Fulham.
“We have got a few problems rebuilding the team so hopefully they will understand in the future.
“If not then we will probably have this more and more because we will have these sort of performances.
Jol has recognised Fulham’s downturn in form following a strong start to the campaign, and revealed concern as to how to combat the slump.
He said: “We had a very good start, we had a settled team before and we are a bit unsettled now because we are the only team in the Premier League who are have still not found their feet in January.
“We looked a bit predictable and we will have to change it.”
