The Royals' new signing is hoping to make his first Premier League appearance against West Brom at the Madejski after describing his move to England as "a dream come true"Reading signing Daniel Carrico has revealed he wants to make his debut for the club in Saturday's Premier League clash with West Brom.
The Portugese defender joined the Royals at the beginning of the transfer window from Sporting Lisbon, where he had previously been captain.

Carrico told ReadingFC Player: “I hope I can pull on the Reading shirt in the next game.
“Like I said before it will be a dream come true. I’ll be training hard in the week to prepare for the next game and I hope I can play.
"We have spoken a bit, and he [Brian McDermott] has told me what he expects of me on the pitch. I will work really hard in training and show my qualities and what I can do.”
The 24-year-old will become the first Portugese player in the club's 142-year history to pull on the blue and white jersey.
He added: "I am proud to be the first player from Portugal to play for Reading - so I will have to show the Portuguese quality!
“To play for a team in the Premier League is a dream come true.
“I'm very happy and glad to be here, and I hope I can help my teammates to go up the table."
