TEAM NEWS: Wenger names unchanged Arsenal side from Newcastle mauling for Southampton trip

Arsene Wenger has named an unchanged starting line-up for Arsenal's New Year's Day trip to Southampton, meaning Theo Walcott continues in attack for the Gunners.

The England international bagged a hat-trick in last weekend's 7-3 win at home to Newcastle, with Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who both scored against the Magpies, also retaining their places in the XI.

Subsequently, Olivier Giroud must settle for a place amongst the substitutes once again despite his double in the same fixture, with Gervinho and Tomas Rosicky also available from the bench.

For the hosts, manager Nigel Adkins makes four changes, with Gaston Ramirez returning to the side following Saturday's 3-3 draw away to Stoke.
