Jovetic explained on December 14 that he stayed at Fiorentina after receiving assurances from club president Mario Cognigni, but the Montenegro international has now thrown fresh doubt over his future at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
"It is 50/50 that I will continue at Fiorentina," he told Corriere dello Sport. "I feel good in Florence and I want to improve more at this club.
"The interest from Manchester City? I know nothing about it but it is good to hear rumours about my work."
The 23-year old is rumoured to have caught the eye of a number of potential suitors in the opening half of the campaign, having netted six times in 12 league outings so far this season.
