Nigel Adkins' men have now lost just one game in seven thanks to their win over Reading last weekend and sit outside the relegation zone with 15 points.
And Rodriguez, who arrived on the south coast from Burnley in the summer, is keen to keep that good form up over Christmas.
"It's nice to have a rest but, in the same breath, when you're coming off the back of a win it is good to get on with the next game," he told the club's official website.

"We've had a hard week's training so I'm sure we'll take it through [to the Christmas schedule], so we are already looking forward to our next game in a week's time.
"Christmas is obviously a busy time, but it's a good time. You get lots of games in that period, and that's something we're looking forward to and I think we'll come out of it well."
Rodriguez made his first start since early November against the Royals and the 23-year-old now hopes to cement a place in Adkins' starting line-up.
He added: "Spirits have been really good this week because it was an important win for us and it's nice to be out of the relegation zone.
"I was chuffed to get a game under my belt and it was nice to be a part of the team - now I just want my goal."
