The battle for a starting place between the Frenchman and Brad Friedel has been on-going at White Hart Lane since the beginning of the season, with Villas-Boas thus far electing for a policy of rotation between the two.
Friedel has more often than not been chosen to start Spurs' league games, with Lloris being picked in the cup competitions.
Lloris has been chosen to start his side's last three fixtures, however, including two in the Premier League - and the 35-year-old manager has admitted that there may soon come a point where stability in the position becomes necessary.

"We want to give [the goalkeepers] a run of continuity for them to feel stabilised," Villas-Boas told reporters. "It's important for them and for the team too.
"The main thing here is both keepers have been doing extremely well. We've been shifting the keepers, not on bad performances but on good performances."
