thumbnail Hello,

Reports have suggested that the Royals are looking to bring in as many as 10 players when the transfer window opens but the goalkeeper believes that could do more harm than good

Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici warns that buying too many players in January could harm the spirit in the dressing room.

The Berkshire club are yet to win in the Premier League this season and Russian owner Anton Zingarevich has hinted at bringing in up to 10 new faces.

But the Australian, who kept the Royals' first clean sheet of the season in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Norwich City, has backed his team-mates to show their quality and prove there is no need for a January splurge.

"We still have the rest of this month, which is a big month for us. We got one monkey off our backs with the clean sheet. The next one will be the three points. It's just getting that one lucky break. Then getting 40 points out of 50 like last season would be lovely."
