The Belgian midfielder has spoken of his happiness after he moved to White Hart Lane from fellow Premier League club Fulham following Luka Modric's transfer to Real MadridTottenham signing Mousa Dembele has expressed his delight at joining the north London club after he completed a move from Fulham.
Dembele had been the subject of much speculation throughout the summer, with Manchester United among a number of clubs to be linked with the former AZ Alkmaar man. However, the 25-year-old opted to join Andre Villas-Boas' side as Spurs moved quickly to replace the recently departed Luka Modric and agree a fee with the Cottagers believed to be in the region of £15 million.

The Belgian international caught the eye of many observers during a two-year spell at Craven Cottage, and Dembele - who won the Dutch Eredivisie in 2009 - believes he is now at the perfect club to take his career to the next level.
He told Tottenham's official website: "I'm happy to join Spurs, it's a fantastic club. You can see over the last few years that Spurs have played well, everybody knows it's a good team and a good club and that's why I wanted to come here.
"The club has plans to do lots of good things and that's why I want to be a part of it."
The midfielder is international team-mates with Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen, who joined the club from Dutch giants Ajax earlier in the summer, and Dembele is looking forward to joining up with his compatriot, who he also played with during his time with the academy at Belgian side Germinal Beerschot.
He added: "I know Jan from when I was 10 years old, we played together then,” he added. “I know him well, he's a great guy and he's said a lot of good things about this club.
"He says there are friendly people here and for me, that's very important, to feel great somewhere. I'm sure I will here."
