The Colombia winger has been heavily linked with the Old Trafford outfit since the World Cup, and the Serie A side have admitted he will leave if a large sum is offered

Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle has admitted that the club are expecting a big offer for Juan Cuadrado amid reports of interest from Manchester United.

Following some impressive showings in Colombia's run to the World Cup quarter-finals in Brazil, the winger has been linked with a number of Europe's biggest sides, including Barcelona.

But Louis van Gaal's side have reportedly become frontrunners for the 26-year-old's signature, with the Dutch coach hinting at a possible bid for the player earlier this week.

And Della Valle has admitted that Cuadrado would be allowed to leave the club should they receive a large offer, and believes the situation may be resolved in the next seven days.

"I talked with Cuadrado in a very quiet and clear way. I said to him that at Fiorentina there is an important project and I hope that he can stay with us another year," he told reporters.

"But I want to say to Fiorentina fans that if a big offer arrives, the player will leave our club, and I think this offer will arrive.

"I won't hold him and I can't hold him in the case of a big offer. The situation will be more clear the next week."

Manchester United have already made two signings this summer in bringing Ander Hererra and Luke Shaw to the club, and may well move again for Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria after Paris Saint-Germain revealed talks over a move for the Argentina international had broken down.
