The German Reds will give the Ghanaian youngster a professional contract in July and hope to tie him down for another two years
FC Kaiserslautern will offer German-born Ghanaian midfielder Manfred Osei Kwadwo a two-year professional contract in the summer, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.
The 18-year-old youngster has been in great form for the German Bundesliga II side’s Under-19 outfit and that has earned him promotion to the senior side.
“We are pleased that we were able to bind them to us Manfred Osei Kwadwo a talented young player for whom also other well-known clubs have been interested,” said CEO Stefan Kuntz FCK on the club’s official website.
“He will sign a professional contract on July 1, 2014 and it will run until June 2016.”
Kwadwo has been with the club since July 2010 with five goals under his belt and seven assists in 14 appearances this season.
