The Seasiders’ spokesperson, Moses Etu confirmed the acquisition of Salami, nicknamed the Nigerian Balotelli.
According to him, the CHAN 2014 striker has completed his personal terms with the club.
He also disclosed that home based Super Eagles second choice goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has joined the club from Owerri-based Heartland Football Club.
Akpeyi dumped the two-time Federation Cup winning Naze Millionaires after a three-and-half season stint.
The departure of Akpeyi from Heartland to Warri Wolves brings players’ exodus from the Owerri outfit to three including forward Brendan Ogbu and midfielder Ikechukwu Ibenegbu.
"Warri Wolves have agreed personal terms with CHAN striker Gbolahan Salami. Also joining the Sea Siders is goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi of Heartland FC who also represented Nigeria at the CHAN 2014 in South Africa,” Etu said.Warri Wolves begin their league campaign against El-Kanemi Warriors at home in Warri on February 23.
