Video: Cabaye arrives for PSG medical

The Newcastle midfielder is on the verge of completing his £20 million switch to the Ligue 1 leaders as Laurent Blanc's side make their first move in the January transfer window
Yohan Cabaye has arrived in France to undergo a medical and finalise his move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Goal reported on Tuesday that the former Lille playmaker was all set to complete his £20 million switch to Laurent Blanc's side, with the 26-year-old excused from Newcastle's matchday squad for the 0-0 draw with Norwich.

The deal for Cabaye represents PSG's first piece of transfer business in the January window, with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi forced to defend the signing of the midfielder following reported in-house criticism that he was not at the required level.
