Sony Sugar beefs up squad with five signings

Kenya Premier League side Sony Sugar have signed five new players ahead of the new season which kicks-off on February 15.

The team has moved in to sign three goalkeepers after losing Wycliffe Kasaya to AFC Leopards’ four weeks ago.

Sony coach Zedekiah Otieno has confirmed to Goal the signing of former Thika United goalkeeper Lucas Indeche, former Muhoroni Youth custodian Gadi Kawuondi and youthful Timothy Omondi.

The sugar millers have also signed former Chemelil Sugar midfielder Victor Omondi and Edwin Oduor, who was formerly at KCB.

“We have been following the progress of this players for a long time and believe they will help us do well in the league this season. They also come in handy to replace some of the key players we lost.”
