The Super Eagles defender is set to team up with the Ligue 1 outfit from his Portuguese side Braga
Nigeria and Braga defender Elderson Echiejile is expected to complete a move to big-spending French league side Monaco.
The former Rennes star's contract expires in June having joined the Portuguese outfit in 2010.
Echiejile, who played a key role in the Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations triumph in 2013, Fifa Confederations Cup and Nigeria’s qualification for the 2014 World Cup, has also been linked with a move to Everton as replacement for Leighton Baines should he join Manchester United.
Monaco are five points behind leaders Paris St-Germain on the French log.
Victor Ikpeba, Lukman Haruna, Sani Keita and Rabiu Afolabi are the other Nigerians to have played for Les Rouge et Blanc.
