thumbnail Hello,

Kaizer Chiefs have not given up on getting Edward Manqele from Mamelodi Sundowns in January, Goal discovers

The Naturena based side want to get the Sundowns striker, who is on loan at Moroka Swallows.

Chiefs need him this January, according to a reliable source at the club, that they want to have him before the registration deadline.

"The team is still in talks with Sundowns and they won't give up until all avenues are exposed and they get the player. I don't know if it will work, but they are working hard to have him," said the Goal source.

Asked for comment Chiefs communications manager Vina Maphosa said Sundowns have not been responding to their request.

"We made a request to Sundowns, but they haven't responded so we can't say much on that," Maphosa said.
