Luiz Gustavo refuses to rule out Wolfsburg exit

The Brazilian midfielder says he doesn't know what the future holds but insists he is happy with life at the Bundesliga club
Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo has refused to rule out a move away from the club after revealing he would consider an offer from one of the game's biggest teams.

Gustavo only arrived at the Volkswagen Arena from Bayern Munich in August, but admitted he doesn't know what the future holds, despite being under contract until 2018.

Speaking to reporters, the 26-year-old said: “If a big club comes, you have to look. It's hard to say what will be in the future."

But Gustavo, who has scored once in 14 Bundesliga games, did add that he was pleased with his start to life at the club, which sees Wolfsburg sit in fifth spot at the time of writing.

“I feel better and better, [Wolfsburg] has big goals,” said Gustavo at his side’s Abu Dhabi training camp.

“I’ll give everything until the last day."

Wolfsburg next play against Hannover 96 on January 25 when the Bundesliga resumes.
