St Etienne centre-back Kurt Zouma is interested in joining Chelsea, according to the player’s agent.
Goal reported in November that the 19-year-old has been targeted by Manchester City in a £10 million deal.
The France Under-21 international has also attracted interest from Newcastle United but the defender’s representative has revealed the only offers under consideration are from Chelsea, Monaco and Inter.
“At Chelsea, Zouma could work with Jose Mourinho and he could help Kurt to make big improvement. That's why Chelsea is also an interesting option for us,” Davod Venditelli told Eurosport.fr.
“We had many contacts with other teams, from Italy, Germany, also Newcastle, but we've chosen to only consider offers from Chelsea, Monaco and Inter.
"Serie A and especially Inter is a welcome destination for Kurt. In Italy he could improve a lot from a tactical point of view.
“AS Monaco is also very interesting for us because the project is important and the team has big ambition.
Venditelli also hinted at the possibility of Zouma being loaned back to St Etienne as part of any deal concluded in January, saying: “This could allow Kurt to end the season in an atmosphere he now know for years, while securing his future."
