The 32-year-old midfielder, who was released by the S.League side in June last year, has penned a one-year contract with the Omani club
The 32-year-old midfielder, whose career has brought him to over three continents including Asia, Africa and Europe, will now be plying his trade in the Middle East after signing a one-year contract with one of the most successful football clubs in Oman.
The Dutchman set the S.League alight last season, scoring four goals in 12 appearances and bagged the first Goal-Singa Player of the Month award of the campaign. Unfortunately, the former Ajax youth, Tokyo Verdy, Dundee and Raja Casablanca player’s six-month contract with the Rams ended last June and was not renewed.
Al-Nasr have won the Omani League five times since the league’s inception in 1976, but they finished fourth in the recent 2012/13 season.
