thumbnail Hello,

Orlando Pirates have made sure that midfielder Andile Jali stays longer at the club by signing a new contact

Goal has been informed by a source at Orlando Pirates that the Bafana Bafana midfielder will stay at Bucs for five more years, which means his new contract will run until 2019.

"From my knowledge he (Jali) has signed a five year contract extension. This means that he has committed his future to the club for a very long time," said Goal's source.

Pirates administrative manager Floyd Mbele didn't want to commit himself on the new deal.

"I am in Cape Town now. I will be back in the office next week so check with me then," Mbele told Goal.

Jali joined Pirates at the beginning of the 2010 season after showcasing his talent with the University of Pretoria in 2009. He helped the club reach the Nedbank Cup finals while still in the NFD.

Back then they lost 1-0 to Moroka Swallows. Since then he has grown from strength to strength in Soweto.
