thumbnail Hello,

Goal exclusively revealed the deal was close, and now the club Ajax Cape Town has confirmed the transfer

There were earlier reports that Lebogang Manyama's agent was looking for an overseas club, but the player was also unhappy with Chiefs' offer.

AmaKhosi fans will be livid for their rivals to pip them to the post for Manyama, as both teams will participate in Caf competitions in 2014.

Ajax boss Ari Efstathiou confirmed United's victory in sealing the deal.

"Ajax Cape Town and SuperSport United have agreed terms on the transfer and Manyama has accepted personal terms offered by United and will join them from January 2014," he stated.

"Ajax Cape Town has paved the way for Lebo to have a very succesful future and would like to thank him for his contribution to Ajax Cape Town during his three and a half years with the club."

The winger scored 15 goals in 71 games for the Cape Town club.
