Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyabonga Nkosi is expected to extend his contract with the club for a further two years in the next few weeks.
Nkosi’s contract is set to expire at the end of June next year, and Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung had previously confirmed that the club is yet to decide whether to extend his stay at Naturena.
However, according to Goal’s source within the AmaKhosi camp, the Chiefs management and the technical team are more than satisfied with his contribution to the club.
“Nkosi has been a marvel to watch and his contract is being reviewed. He will be offered a two-year deal to his existing contract. That should be finalized when the players return from the Christmas break,” revealed our source.
The 32-year-old Nkosi netted a brace against AmaZulu on Sunday, and despite struggling to command a regular place in the Chiefs starting line-up, he remains one of the important players in Stuart Baxter’s team.
