thumbnail Hello,

Pahang's hero last season Matias Conti has confirmed that he will stay with the Elephants and has joined training with his teammates.

Argentinian Matias Ruben Conti has ended speculation on where he will play next season after Fuzzeimi Ibrahim, secretary-general of Pahang Football Association (PBNP), confirmed that Conti is still a Pahang player.

He also confirmed that Pahang has completed their four import players’ quota for next seasons Malaysian Super League challenge.

According to Sinar Harian, Fuzzeimi said his side has confirmed that Conti will be among the four import players that they have signed for next season. With the arrival of Conti, he hopes that Pahang can give a huge challenge to other teams in the league.

“From our side, we are not just hoping for Conti, but from all other import and local players to strengthen the team for next season,” he added.

The combination of Conti and Dickson Nwakaeme, the former Kelantan striker surely will be something for defenders to watch out for next season.

Rumours before this suggest that Conti could be on his way out from Pahang after he was reportedly saying he wanted to play with other teams.
