Ingwe secretary George Aladwa reveals to Goal that they have released Baraza alongside Abbas Kiwalabye and Nahimana ahead of next season
AFC Leopards’ have released three players as they seek to create room for fresh blood in the coming season.
The biggest surprise let go is veteran striker Mike Barasa, who joins Abbas Kiwalabye and Jonas Nahimana in the exit door. Ingwe Secretary General George Aladwa have revealed to Goal the departure of the three and said the club wishes them the best in their future endeavors.
"We are trying to build a strong team ahead of the new season and the three players have no place in our plans. We want to wish them the best wherever they go.”
Last week Leopards’ announced they had signed Sofapaka defender James Situma and Ugandan Musa Mudde. The club is also eying towering Tusker defender Joseph Shikokoti and Sony Sugar goalkeeper Wycliff Kasaya.
