The 28-year-old forward has reportedly down a USD10,000-a-month salary to play for the J-League 2 side, and wants to stay in VietnamVietnamese star Le Cong Vinh has turned down a move to Japanese side Consadole Sapporo according to reports in the forward's home.
Consadole had reportedly asked to loan Cong Vinh for one season and were willing to offer a fee of USD60,000 to his current club SLNA, and USD10,000 a month salary to the forward.
The forward had a very successful short loan spell with the J-League Division 2 this year and is currently back in Vietnam. SLNA have insisted that Cong Vinh is an important player for next season and would like to retain him, with the club's director also suggesting that the offer was not good enough.
The forward himself had also revealed that he prefered playing for SLNA next season.
"I love Consadole Sapporo and respect their appreciation for me," he said in an interview last month.
"Nevertheless, I think I should just play until the end of this Japanese season when my 5-month loan contract is expired. Because, in fact, I still prefer playing for SLNA and Vietnamese football atmosphere."
