The relegated Norwegian side have agreed to let the Ghanaian youngster leave to his parent club
Ghanaian teenager Hamza Zakari is to return to Eupen after his loan deal with Norwegian Europa League campaigners Tromso IL ended.
The youngster, who is owned by the Belgian Second Division leaders, was signed on a one year loan deal by Tromso, but has not lived to expectation mainly due to injuries.
“We also quite agree with Hamza Zakari that he can take another place,” Tromso head coach Svein Johansen told Nordlys.
“Hamza came here to find a position in the club, and especially, now that we are relegated he understands it will be difficult for him to be in the Division 1.”
Johansen added: “We'll see how it will be in the future. I have not yet talked with him about it. Now it's probably not so appropriate for us to bring new players.”
Hamza has suffered much illness in the last few years. The former Aspire Academy player featured for Tromso last two weeks in the Europa League against Anzhi.
