The skipper of Berekum Chelsea could land in the camp of the Porcupine Warriors should they fail to grab the New Edubiase leader on the field
Asante Kotoko are gearing up to make a move for Berekum Chelsea captain Abdul-Basit Mohammed if a move for key transfer target Asiedu Attobrah fails.
Goal Ghana understands that an approach has already been made and the Blues are demanding about Gh¢80,000 from the Porcupine Warriors before they will part ways with their trusted skipper.
Basit’s style of play can be likened to Attobrah and with New Edubiase likely to sell their skipper to a foreign club, Kotoko will turn their attention on the Chelsea skipper.
The Porcupine Warriors are also said to be interested in Chelsea holding midfielder Owusu Jackson but the Berekum side are reluctant to sell the duo at the same time.
