Transfer News: Defender Nazri Ahmad tangled between two Reds

Kelantan's newest signing in hot soup, JDT II announce 2014 squad

After being revealed as one of the Red Warriors' new signing on Tuesday, it has emerged that former JDT and Harimau Muda fullback Nazri Ahmad had earlier agreed to play for Selangor. The Red Giants had earlier been disappointed by Malaysian forward Safee Sali's decision not to play for them in 2014, despite having verbally agreed to do so and having taken the signing on fee.

But unlike in the case of Safee, it was revealed by a Twitter user that is believed to be close to the Selangor FA; @frman123, that the 23-year old centreback had already signed a contract with Selangor. frman123 also added that Selangor are taking the matter to the Football Association of Malaysia today (Wednesday).

The Johor Football Association (PBNJ) yesterday revealed the 2014 squad list for their Premier League side JDT II on their website. Among the notable new additions to the squad are Singapore international team captain Shahril Ishak from LionsXII, former Malaysia international Zaquan Adha and former Atletico Madrid and Zaragoza forward Braulio Nobrega. The full list can be read on their website.
