thumbnail Hello,

Tengku Hasbullah is also on the Red Warriors' radar while Perak coach left unimpressed with import hopefuls.

WHAT THE NEWS ARE SAYING

KELANTAN

In a post on his Facebook fan page, Kelant Football Association (KAFA) President Annuar Musa revealed the Red Warriors' intention of signing Australian-born forward Brendan Gan. Annuar also posted a letter sent by KAFA to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), requesting that Gan be allowed to feature for Kelantan as a local player, citing FIFA rules on player's nationality, as Gan's father holds on to a Malaysian citizenship.

The 25-year-old forward formerly played for the Sydney FC youth team and Sabah.

In a report by Sinar Harian, Kelantan are also said to be interested in their former player, Tengku Hasbullah.

PERAK

A report by the Utusan Malaysia revealed that the Silver State are in the midst of putting several import players through a trial. The players are Faroqu Salama from Ghana, Prince Eboaywu Etuwe from Nigeria, Vietnamese Dinh Hoangmax, Martin Kafando from Burkina Faso and Adama Kone from Ivory Coast. However head coach Abu Bakar Fadzim was reported to be unimpressed by them, more so with Kone who earlier this year had been a top performer for Yangon United in the AFC Cup. But Bakar has chalked their poor performance down to jet lag, and is willing to give them another chance to impress him.
