Sources have revealed to Goal that the former champions have opened talks with the KCB forward, who scored 17 goals in the just concluded season
Former Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker have set their sights on major recruitments as they strive to reclaim the title next year.
Officials from the club have opened talks with KCB forward Jacob Keli, who scored 17 goals in the just concluded season to emerge top scorer.
The club is also talking to Sofapaka players James Situma and Felly Mulumba and Sony Sugar goalkeeper Wycliff Kasaya.
Sources at Tusker have revealed to Goal that the four players have agreed to join the former champions subject to agreement over terms. “We have had very fruitful talks with the four players and we expect they will join us,” said our source.
Sofapaka chairman Elly Kalekwa said he is aware of the interest from Tusker but insisted they are not ready to release the two players. “This are our key players and we are not negotiating over their future.”
