Kedah are set to secure the signing of former Sabah and Malaysia defender Sumardi Hajalan while Felda-Hairuddin Omar saga continues with the revelation of one more participant.

Former Kedah and Perak head coach Azraai Khor confirmed with Sinar Harian that he is in the midst of a negotiation with T-Team to lead them for the 2014 season. He earlier parted ways with Perak following the end of their 2013 Malaysia Cup campaign. He added that he had earlier thought of taking a break from football in 2014, but he also wants to see what is on the table when the offer came from T-Team.
The Canaries revealed through their official Facebook page that they are close to signing 28-year-old former Sabah and Malaysia defender Sumardi Hajalan.
Yesterday we reported about ATM midfielder Hairuddin Omar's refusal to play for Felda United next season, despite having signed a contract with them. Aside from Hai-O, Utusan Malaysia reported that his ATM teammate Irwan Fadzli Idrus was also involved in the saga. Felda head coach Irfan Bakti spoke to the national daily of the duo's refusal which was revealed to him through the telephone, and the duo's refusal to honour the deal, even after the Settlers' representatives had offered to hold a meeting with the both of them.
