Badhri Radzi ended any speculation that he will be moving to a new club as he signs a new contract with Kelantan.
Badhri Radzi, also known as Piya, has ended speculation about him leaving Kelantan as he has confirmed that he will sign a new contract with the Red Warriors for next season.
A few weeks earlier, he revealed that he received seven offers from Malaysian Super League (MSL) clubs but the midfielder insisted that he is going nowhere and wants to stay in Kelantan.
Badhri said: "I will sign the new contract soon or after we come back on the 17thof November.
"Despite a few of my friends have confirmed that they will play with other teams, I am still going to be in Kelantan."
Eight of Kelantan's players will reportedly leave the FA Cup champions for next season, but for Piya, the feeling of playing for your own state is different from playing with others.
"There are differences for playing at your own hometown or at other places," he added.
"Here we have strong supporters who can lift your spirit as Kelantanese.
"Playing at other places may be okay with others but for me, playing for Kelantan is much more meaningful.
"Maybe the 2014 squad will be better because every player has their own advantage."
Kelantan defended their FA Cup trophy which they won last year after beating Johor Darul Takzim 1-0, but lost the Super League title to the LionsXII and the Malaysia Cup trophy to Pahang.
