The Ghanaian winger is on the verge of cancelling his contract with the Egyptian side due to the suspension of the league
Ghana midfielder Francis Akwaffo has decided to abrogate his contract with Al Ittihad Sakndary due to the suspension of the league.
The 26-year-old joined the Egyptian side in 2011 and has been one of the key men in the side before the league was called off.
“The management are begging me to stay but I also want to play football. I will hold a meeting with them in the coming days. They don’t want me to go,” Akwaffo exclusively told Goal Ghana.
He added: “I love the club, the fans and everybody but it is too bad that there is no league going on here and I have to move. I appreciate and like their support so much.”
“I want to cancel my contract because I want to play football and here also they are not ready to play.”
