Former national striker Akmal Rizal will announce his new club as soon as the deal is finalized between the two parties.
Former national striker Akmal Rizal has yet to reveal where he will play next season after receiving three offers from three different clubs.
Akmal said that it is too early to announce anything as all the negotiations are still in progress and no confirmation has been made yet.
According to Sinar Harian, Akmal said: "I admit that I have received three offers from Malaysian Super League (MSL) clubs for next season.
"If possible, I want the discussions to be completed first, and then I will announce it."
Akmal was clearly happy that there are still local coaches who want his services for next season after his contract with Kedah ends.
"Despite reaching the age of 31, there are still coaches who have faith with my ability," he added.
"I am so happy but at the same time I am sad because I would not be able to play for Kedah anymore.
"But I am grateful with this opportunity and I promise to give my best with my new club."
Akmal Rizal, who has been playing for Kedah for several years, revealed through his twitter account recently that he has received three offers from MSL clubs as soon as his contract ended with Kedah.
