The impressive defender has committed his immediate future to the nib Stadium outfit, demonstrating his faith in the new regime under Alistair Edwards
Two days out from their season opener against Adelaide United, Perth Glory have received a timely boost with defender Scott Jamieson putting pen to paper and signing on for a further year.
Jamieson re-signing ties him to the Western Australian club until the end of 2014-15 season.
Just days short of his 25th birthday, the tenacious defender has a racked up over 100 A-League appearances in a relatively short amount of time having played at Adelaide United and Sydney FC before settling in Perth for the 2011-12 season.
Jamieson played 22 games last season and finished runner-up to Steve McGarry in the Most Glorious Player Award.
The 2008-09 A-League young player of the year said he was happy to be staying at the Glory and was confident the club was heading in the right direction.
"Scott [Jamieson] brings those marauding runs down the left-hand side - it reminds me a little bit of the Scott Miller of old," Glory coach Alistair Edwards said.
"That's one of the important things for Scott as well in that he has a club legend in Scotty Miller as one of the coaching staff. Scott Miller is probably the best left back the club has ever produced so it's great that another Scott is helping him.
"Jammo is highly ambitious, so he has some really good people around him to help him achieve his goals. You see them talking a lot on the sidelines and one-on-one, they do a lot of video analysis together."
