The future of Katlego Mphela at Mamelodi Sundowns seems to be non-existent after one of the club’s officials confirmed to Goal that the striker will be placed on the transfer list when the window opens in January.
Mphela has struggled to get some game time even under his former coach from SuperSport United, Pitso Mosimane now at Sundowns, and it appears he has made his intensions clear to the management that he wants to leave the club next year.

“Mphela’s situation is difficult at the moment, but the player has shown no interest of playing for Sundowns after the end of his contract and therefore will be transfer listed in January,” a Sundowns officials told Goal.
The 28-year-old Mphela has failed to make the grade under Pitso Mosimane, with Cuthbert Malajila leading the Brazilians’ attack in his absence, and the Downs official confirms Mphela is leaving the club.
