The budding winger has confirmed that the Italian giants have enquired about his services, but he snubbed them to keep his focus in Belgium
Ghanaian young international Frank Acheampong has revealed he has been approached by Italian giants AC Milan, but turned it down because he is happy at Anderlecht.
The 19-year-old winger has been on the wanted list of Milan since he scored two goals against their primavera side in the Viareggio Youth Cup earlier this year and his impressive showing for Ghana and club have gingered the Rossoneri to get him.
"It is true that AC Milan have come knocking. They tried to initiate a deal through my manager,” Acheampong told Voetlnieuws. “I told him that he should tell them that I'm happy at Anderlecht and I will not like to move.”
Acheampong, who was signed from Thai side Buriram FC for a record fee of $1 million, has undoubtedly been Anderlecht best player this season.
He has downplayed suggestions that he will leave the Belgian side as a result of money.
