Michelini wants to end career with Bangkok Glass

The French star, who once played for Etoile FC in the S.League, has impressed since re-joining the Thai side for a second time
Thai Premier League (TPL) side Bangkok Glass are planning to offer French star Flavien Michelini a one-year contract extension, Goal Thailand has learnt.

The 27-year-old midfielder has impressed hugely since joining the club for his second stint this June on a six-month deal, after he had left the club in October last year following a year and a half with them.

Michelini's sparkling displays saw him nab Goal Thailand's Player of the Month award for July and a club insider revealed the planned extension, with the player himself keen to play for the Glass Rabbits until he hangs up his boots.

Bangkok Glass head coach Attaphol Buspakom lavished praise on the former Etoile FC player, who helped them to the S.League title in their debut season in 2010.

"Michellini is the best Leg Two signing of the TPL," he asserted.

"For me he'll always be in our first eleven as long as there's no injury or suspension on him."
