The Falcons have emerged as the new front liners to sign the Ghanaian and former Arsenal winger

Ghana international Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is likely to move to the Turkish Super Lig as Gazientepspor emerge as the new suitors.

The 27-year-old is a free agent after terminating his contract with Panathinaikos but a move to Hull City, Cardiff and Sunderland all fell through this summer.

Goal Ghana can, however, confirm that  Gazientepspor who placed 10th in the Turkish league last season have tended in a bid to sign the former Arsenal and Spartak Moscow star.

The Kamil Ocak Stadium outfit are also tracking Hull City winger Jay Simpson for a possible purchase.

Abeyie, who shot into the limelight in the 2005 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in the Netherlands, has failed to make a meaningful impact at club level since he left Arsenal.

He has played for clubs including Portsmouth, Cardiff City, Birmingham City, Spartak Moscow, Malaga, Celta Vigo, Al Sadd and others.
