Jordan Ayew agrees to join West Bromich Albion - Report

The young Ghanaian striker is reported to have agreed to join the Baggies on loan as a means to gain more playing time
Ghana international Jordan Ayew has agreed to leave Olympique Marseille on loan to English Premiership side West Bromich Albion.

The ambitious English club are in the market looking for a finisher following the sudden retirement of their striker Nicolas Anelka just a month after signing him.

According to Foot01, the Ghanaian youngster has agreed to join Steve Clarke at West Brom as he seeks more playing time to hone his talent.

The deal is expected to be completed in the coming days as Marseille also see it as an opportunity for their forward to gain more first team experience.

Ayew was on the verge of joining Nice on loan on the final transfer day of last summer, but the Stade Velodrome outfit opted out.

Last season he netted six goals for Marseille and won the player of the month twice.
