Saint-Etienne ready to take Ghana striker Jordan Ayew on loan

The Stade Geoffroy Guichard outfit are ready to take the budding Ghanaian forward on loan
French Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne are still in the market looking for a striker following the departure of Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Dortmund and have set their eyes on Jordan Ayew.

According to French newspaper Progress, the Stéphanois are ready to take the Ghanaian youngster on loan and will offer him enough playing time as their key man upfront.

Ayew has made only two appearances all from the bench this season for Olympique Marseille and with Ghana set to qualify for the 2014 World Cup he will need enough playing time to cement a place in the Black Stars.

English premiership side West Bromich Albion have also penciled him as a target, but the son of Ghana football legend has always maintained that he is happy and wants to stay at the Stade Velodrome.
