Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis claims the club are close to signing Estudiantes striker Duvan Zapata.
The Partenopei have made nine signings so far this summer, but new coach Rafa Benitez is continuing to spend the proceeds of Edinson Cavani's €63 million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
And the Colombia striker is set to become the club's 10th addition of the transfer window and join Gonzalo Higuain - who joined from Real Madrid in July - in a new-look forward line.
Speaking via his official Twitter account, De Laurentiis confirmed: "We have just closed the deal with Estudiantes for Zapata. The player is coming to Naples and will have a medical."
Zapata struck an impressive 20 goals in just 41 appearances for the Argentinian club after joining from America de Cali in 2011.
Last seasons Serie A runners-up kick-off the new campaign at home to Bolgna on Sunday, although the fixture will come too soon for Zapata to be involved.
