Crystal Palace face competition for Mollo

Nancy president Jacques Rousselot reveals that the Eagles are interested in the French winger but that they face competition from two German clubs and Olympiakos
Crystal Palace face stiff competition from three European clubs, including Olympiakos, to sign attacker Yohann Mollo, says Nancy president Jacques Rousselot.

Manager Ian Holloway, who has admitted to having "a nightmare" as he attempts to bolster his side in the summer transfer window, is chasing the 24-year-old, with reports touting a £2 million fee.

The Frenchman impressed on loan at Saint-Etienne last season, with the Ligue 1 side's chief confirming that he has also drawn the attention of Bundesliga sides.

"It's starting to heat up," Rousselot told Nancy's official website. "Crystal Palace are expected to reply to our proposition.

"All parties need to agree. Two German clubs are also interested and Olympiakos have not given up."

Despite Holloway's frustrations, Mollo would become Palace's 10th signing of the summer should he agree a deal to move to the 12Bet Stadium.
